Business consulting in Spain

Setting up in a new country involves a lot more than filing paperwork. You need a clear picture of what compliance looks like, where the risks are and how to structure your operations efficiently. This matters especially if you are coming from Eastern Europe or running a cross-border structure.

Whether you need help planning your entry into Spain, reviewing your current structure or want a reliable adviser for day-to-day operational questions, we offer practical, commercially minded guidance — not just technical answers.

What's included Entry action plan · compliance & risk checklist · business structure review · cost optimisation advice · ongoing advisory support

Company formation in Spain

Registering a company in Spain involves notaries, the Commercial Registry, tax registration and a sequence of steps that must happen in the right order. Getting it wrong at the start creates problems later — which is why it is worth doing it properly from day one.

We work with foreign founders, non-resident entrepreneurs and international businesses opening a Spanish entity. We guide you through the entire process and coordinate with the necessary local professionals so you do not have to.

What's included Legal structure advice (SL, autónomo, branch) · full documentation · notary coordination · tax registration · NIE/NIF support · launch-ready accounting setup

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from freelancers and small business owners setting up or operating in Spain.

Do I need to register as autónomo if I freelance from Spain?
Yes. If you regularly provide services or sell goods in Spain, you are generally required to register as autónomo (self-employed) with the Social Security and the tax authority (Agencia Tributaria). There are thresholds and exceptions depending on your situation — contact us and we will clarify what applies to your case.
How much does monthly accounting cost?
It depends on the volume of transactions and the complexity of your activity. We work with freelancers with a small number of invoices per month as well as small companies with more regular activity. Get in touch and we will give you a clear, transparent quote with no hidden fees.
Can you help if my company is registered abroad but operates in Spain?
Yes. We regularly assist international businesses — particularly from Romania, Russia and other Eastern European countries — that have a Spanish entity or that need to understand their obligations in Spain. Cross-border structures are something we deal with on a daily basis.
How long does it take to form a company in Spain?
For a Sociedad Limitada (SL), the process typically takes between 4 and 8 weeks depending on notary availability and document preparation. If you have a deadline — a contract start date, a visa application or a launch — let us know early so we can plan accordingly.
Do you communicate in Russian or Romanian?
Yes. Our team works in English, Spanish, Russian and Romanian. Many of our clients from Eastern Europe specifically choose us because they can explain their situation clearly in their own language without losing nuance in translation.
What do you need from me to get started?
Just a brief description of your situation — what your business does, whether you are already registered in Spain and what kind of support you are looking for. From there we will tell you exactly what the next steps are.
